[21 November 2016, Hong Kong] Festive Korea is organized via the Consulate Common with the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong and Macau. Stepping to its sixth anniversary, Festive Korea hosts over thirty programmes including Kung Fu musical performance, trend present, classical music, exhibitions, motion pictures and Korean gastronomy. Festive Korea is delighted to announce that Ms. Sabrina Ho has become appointed as their Honorary Ambassador Korean Tradition of Hong Kong and Macau in recognition of her assist to market Korean society.

A presentation ceremony was held on seventeen November with the Consulate Normal in the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong and Macau. Ambassador Kim Kwang-Dong, Consul Standard on the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong and Macau offered the “Certificate of Appreciation” to Ms. Sabrina Ho for her assistance to Festive Korea, particularly in local community outreach and schooling programmes. Complimentary tickets had been provided to students to appreciate Festive Korea programmes, promoting Korean cultural exchange with Hong Kong and Macau. Ms. Angela Leong also attended the ceremony to point out her assistance.

“I am delighted for being the Honorary Ambassador Korean Culture of Hong Kong and Macau. Being an art- lover myself, I’m especially eager to help art enhancement from the younger era. Currently,

whilst Kpop is so influential, I would want to invite everybody to discover the opposite aspect of the Korean tradition, like the regular nonetheless modern programmes which include performances and exhibitions brought by Festive Korea this year. I’m happy for being aspect of this cultural festival and add to endorsing Korean cultural growth in Hong Kong and Macau.” Sabrina explained.
